AMost of models need to fit into a pattern of artificial beauty, without expression, as if they were dolls or standardized robots. After selecting faces pasted on walls and magazine covers which seem frozen in time, images of a broken television are overlaid.

By working with the same products used to rejuvenate models, the purpose was just the opposite: aging them. The intention is to criticize aesthetic standard required in fashion universe. Makeup remover, acetone, mascara, blush, eyeliner and lipstick are some of those materials.

In some cases, images of cranes and plants are merged in order to question where “beauty” should be found: in the organicity and peculiarity of each one, or in the default and artificiality?
