Turning gardens into cages has become a new practice during Rio de Janeiro’s Carnival. This actually protects plants from human vandalism, but the crucial point is: we are afraid of our own violence. The result are imprisoned gardens, urban installations that reminds Land Art, style developed by artists like Christo&Claude and Robert Smithson.
